When you schedule an appointment with our clinic, we set aside sufficient time to provide you with a high standard of care. Should you need to cancel or re-schedule an appointment please contact our office as soon as possible and no later than 4 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. Since appointments are in high demand, your prompt cancellation will give another patient the opportunity to access timely medical care. Please see our Appointment Cancellation/ No Show Policy below:

  • Any client who fails to show or cancels/ reschedules an appointment and has not contacted our office with at least 4 hours’ notice, will be considered a no show and will be charged a $60 fee.
  • Any client who fails to show or cancels/ reschedules without 4 hours’ notice a second time, will be charged another $60 fee that will require payment before scheduling any further appointments.
  • If a third no show or late cancellation occurs the client may be dismissed from the Anderson Veterinary Clinic.
  • Surgical cancellations: Any scheduled procedure requires 48 hours’ notice for cancellation. Any client who cancels or no shows for a scheduled procedure, will be charged a $100 fee.

We understand there may be times when an unforeseen emergency occurs and you may not be able to keep your scheduled appointment. In case of extenuating circumstances please contact our office to inquire if you are eligible to have the No Show fee waived. You may contact our office Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm.

Late Arrival

Our clinic aims to make your visit a pleasant one. In our efforts to make your visit more comfortable and to minimize your wait time, our office has implemented a late arrival policy. If a patient is more than 10 minutes late for an appointment, the appointment may need to be rescheduled. This is to ensure that the patients who arrive on time do not wait longer than necessary as well as to allow enough time to address you pets needs. You may be given the option to wait for another appointment time on the same day if one is available. We will try to accommodate late‐comers as best as possible, but cannot compromise on the quality and timely care provided to our other patients. All patients are encouraged to arrive at the office at least 5 minutes prior to the scheduled appointment. We appreciate your compliance and understanding with this policy so that we can continue to provide excellent medical care as well as excellent customer service.
